Statewide Mutual would like to welcome Jason Linnane, General Manager – Singleton Council, to the Board of Management.
Jason was elected by his peers to be the representative of the Hunter region, taking over from his predecessor, Brian Bell, who made a phenomenal contribution to the Mutual.
Jason has been General Manager of Singleton Council since March 2016 and brings a wealth of local government experience to the Statewide Mutual Board, having contributed over 18 years with Port Stephens Council, 5 years with Newcastle Council and 4 years with Dubbo City Council before that.
Singleton Council has undertaken significant work around risk management in recent years and Jason’s inclusion on the Board is a reflection of Council’s Integrated Risk Management team and the broader organisation.
“I’m really excited to represent our local government area and the Hunter Region on the Board of the Mutual. It’s a terrific opportunity,” he said.
“But more than that, I am very proud of the work we’ve been doing at Singleton Council over the past two years.”
